KANGL + WIZ · ECOSYSTEM ROADMAP

Kangl + Wiz.

Wiz sees the cloud; your developers work in repositories. Kangl is designed to bring Wiz findings into an estate-shaped posture model — mapped to the Azure DevOps repositories and pipelines where fixes actually happen.

WHAT WIZ DOES BRILLIANTLY

Wiz redefined cloud security with agentless full-stack visibility and a security graph that correlates misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, identities, and exposure into attack paths that matter.

For cloud posture and runtime context, it is among the strongest platforms in the industry.

THE OPERATING GAP AT ESTATE SCALE

Cloud findings, code owners

A cloud misconfiguration usually traces back to IaC in a repository and ships through a pipeline. Connecting cloud-side findings to the delivery-side artifacts developers own is where remediation stalls. None of this is a criticism of the scanner — it is the operating layer every scanner needs and none of them ship, because their job is detection, not estate management.

Two worlds, two vocabularies

Cloud platforms speak resources and accounts; delivery teams speak repos and builds. Without a mapping layer, each side files tickets into the other's void.

WHAT KANGL ADDS

Your scanner, amplified.
Not replaced.

Kangl performs no scanning of any kind. Everything below is estate operations: the layer that turns a great scanner into an enforced, observable, auditable program across Azure DevOps.

Posture with a delivery address

Kangl is designed to ingest Wiz findings as a posture source and map them onto the normalized repository model — so cloud risk appears beside code and dependency risk, attached to the repo and pipeline that can fix it.

Policy at the source

Where cloud findings trace to IaC, the same backend policy layer can gate the pipelines that ship it — closing the loop from detection to prevention.

This integration is on the Kangl ecosystem roadmap — it describes designed delivery mechanics, not a live integration. Snyk is production supported today →

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Kangl + Wiz, in practice.

Is Kangl a CSPM or cloud security tool?

No. Cloud detection is Wiz's domain. Kangl's domain is the Azure DevOps estate — and giving cloud findings a delivery-side address inside it.

Is Wiz support available today?

Wiz is on the ecosystem roadmap as a posture-source provider. Snyk is the production-supported provider today.

Why route cloud findings through a delivery control plane at all?

Because remediation happens in repositories and pipelines. Findings that arrive where developers already work get fixed; findings that live in another console get triaged.
